Founder
Ambreen founded FunFox Program in 2020, driven by more than 20 years of teaching experience and a lifelong belief that education should be creative, structured, and genuinely encouraging. Inspired by her own mother—a dedicated educator—Ambreen recognised that many Australian primary students, including those in Sydney preparing for the Opportunity Class exam, were missing the deep literacy and critical-thinking foundations that make a real difference. She designed the FunFox curriculum from the ground up to bridge that gap: blending rigorous academic content with the kind of warmth and enthusiasm that keeps children engaged, motivated, and growing term after term.

Teaching & Curriculum Advisory
Nazneen plays a pivotal role in shaping the academic rigour and pedagogical quality of FunFox's programs. As part of the Teaching and Curriculum Advisory team, she ensures every lesson plan, worksheet, and assessment task is carefully calibrated to meet Australian curriculum standards while stretching students toward their OC test goals. Nazneen brings a deep understanding of how primary-age learners absorb new concepts, and she continuously refines FunFox's scope and sequence to reflect the evolving demands of the NSW Opportunity Class Placement Test—keeping every Sydney student ahead of the curve.

Teaching & Curriculum
Amna is a dedicated member of FunFox's teaching and curriculum team, bringing energy, expertise, and a student-centred approach to every class she leads. She specialises in making complex literacy and writing concepts accessible and enjoyable for primary school students, ensuring children build genuine understanding rather than surface-level test familiarity. Amna works closely with Sydney families to monitor each child's progress, provide constructive feedback through the Seesaw platform, and adjust lesson pacing to ensure no student is left behind on the road to OC exam readiness.

Teacher
Mariam is one of FunFox's trusted classroom teachers, known for her ability to create a warm, encouraging atmosphere where even the most reluctant readers and writers feel safe to take risks and grow. She leads live weekly Zoom masterclasses with small groups of up to 6 students, giving each child personalised attention and immediate feedback. Mariam's engaging teaching style helps Sydney students develop the reading comprehension and written expression skills that are central to both the OC test and a lifetime of academic achievement.
The NSW Opportunity Class (OC) Placement Test is a selective assessment conducted annually by the NSW Department of Education for Year 4 entry. It tests students in reading, mathematical reasoning, and thinking skills. Applications typically open in March each year for the test held in May, with results released around August. Early, sustained preparation across literacy and reasoning is key to a competitive result.
