Founded in 2020 by educator and mother Ambreen, FunFox was born from a vision to blend structure, creativity, challenge, and encouragement in literacy education. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Ambreen understood that many students needed more reading support than mainstream schooling could provide. Today, our team of 14 dedicated professionals carries forward this mission, having grown FunFox to serve over 1,500 students across Australia and internationally. Every FunFox teacher is trained in our unique methodology that makes learning genuinely fun while building the critical reading skills students need for high school success and beyond. We believe education should foster curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking—values that guide everything we do.
The Journeys Reading Program is specifically designed for 4th grade students, typically ages 9-10 years (Australian Year 4). The curriculum and teaching approach are tailored to this developmental stage.
